【Main ingredient】Tylvalosin Tartrate

【Characters】This product is light yellow-brown or yellow-brown powder.

【Pharmacological actions】

Tylvalosin Tartrate belongs to the macrolide class of animal-specific antibiotics, which inhibits the synthesis of bacterial proteins and thus the reproduction of bacteria. Its antibacterial spectrum is close to that of tylosin, such as strong antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Bacillus anthracis, filamentous bacillus of swine, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium perfringens, and Clostridium aerogenes. It is effective against Gram-positive bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics, but hardly works against Gram-negative bacteria, and has strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma septicum and Mycoplasma synoviae. Bacteria do not easily develop resistance to this product.

【Drug interaction】

(1) Antagonistic effect on the effect of chloramphenicol and lincomycin, should not  be used together.

(2) The combination of β-lactams and this product (as a bacteriostatic agent) can interfere with the bactericidal efficacy of the former, and the two should not be used together for diseases that require rapid bactericidal effects.

【Effect and use】

It belongs to the antibiotic class of drugs. Used for mycoplasma infections in pigs and chickens.

【Usage and dosage】

Calculated with this product. Mixed feeding: 250-375g per 1000kg of feed for pigs; 500-1500g for chickens. 7 days consecutive days.

【Untoward effect】

No adverse reactions have been observed when used in accordance with the prescribed dosage and administration.

【Cautions】

(1) laying period of laying hens is forbidden.

(2) Not to be used in combination with penicillin.

(3) Non-therapeutic animals should avoid contact with this product ;Avoid direct contact with eyes and skin; operators should wear protective equipment such as face shield, glasses and gloves; children are strictly prohibited from contacting this product.
